Ben Mikic Foundation
On the 12 September and for the second year a Ben Mikic Foundation Womens Team is taking part in the annual charity ride which is linked to the Classic Goulburn to Citi Road Race and Corporate Charity Ride.
The BMF has an overarching goal of making cycling safer for young bike riders and a number of programs are in place to achieve this goal; to help fund these programs the BMF Womens Team will be riding the Mittagong to Camden leg of this event with the intent of demonstrating safe riding practice and to make the point that all road users need to use our roads with safety as the uppermost consideration. The team needs all the support it can get in raising funds to ensure the foundation is able to continue with the work it is doing.
If you could consider making a donation to the team’s ride it would be a great help. Providing support is really easy; all you need to do is to paste www.benmikicfoundation.org.au into Internet Explorer or your web browser and you will get into the BMF home page; in the lower left corner is a widget headed ‘BMF’s fundraising page for the 2010 Goulburn to Citi Corporate Charity Ride’; click on Sponsor Me and you will be taken to the BMF fundraising page; click on Donate Now nominate an amount you would like to contribute, complete the information required by Everyday Hero and either nominate a team member you would like to support or just donate to the team.
The BMF says that the value in the Everyday Hero fundraising system is that is possible to reach a great many people simply by email and what works is lots of people making modest contributions.
